    "Could be a great venue, if the track was anywhere near the stands. Sadly, venues like this don't convey the excitement of speedway very well. "

    Mike Wilson:

    "I appreciate some Speedway is better than no Speedway but the viewing at this track must be terrible. The fans must surely feel somewhat removed from the action?"

    "UNCLE LEN - Just a few lines, if I may, to comment on the impending departure of Len Silver from our beloved sport after 75 years. You'll be sadly missed Len, a showman supreme, a very knowledgeable person where speedway is concerned, what you don't know about it isn't worth knowing. Many many thanks for all the wonderful years of entertainment at the still missed Hackney, thank you for your time as England team manager, but above all thank you for being you. Aside from Johnnie Hoskins you were the most important person in our sport. Good luck to you for the future."
