Swedish Snapshots
By Tommy Hansson

These pictures were taken before a 'B' meeting between Indianerna and rnarna in 1988.

Henrik Gustafsson (Kings Lynn) who rode for Indianerna is the one in the first picture.

Peter Karlsson (Wolverhampton) and Niklas Karlsson (Oxford) who both rode for rnarna are in the second picture.

I remember the meeting quite well because most of the riders in the home team were lapped.

I believe four of them couldn't even slide the bike.

  • Fred Worledge:

"The result would probably go in the reverse direction today as the Indians are an elite league team and the Eagles are in the allsvenskan. Nicklas Karlsson retired from racing, still with Ornarna, 3 seasons ago winning his last race. Henka and P.K are back home again with them this season."
